Life Can be Tough on Concrete

Florida weather is hard on everything, even concrete. It doesn't matter how bad your surface looks to begin with, we can bond our new surface to most any existing substrate, except wood or asphalt. Perhaps yours isn't as bad as this:
The old surface is prepped, cracks and all, base coated to cover old imperfections and a new cosmetic finish applied. This person chose a simple, clean concrete color with our lace texture finish.

Choose Any Color

Virtually any color can be chosen. Some colors work better than others and many times we choose something that ties everything together. As a general rule, in a screened in room, a lighter shade on the floor makes a room look larger, while a darker floor color will make the room look smaller. Another great look is a contrasting color border. Notice in the photo to the right, the deck is a light, seamless color, creating a clean look. The border adds just enough dark color and "pizazz" without overpowering everything.

Many Effects are Possible

We do a lot of line effects with special tape: brick, tile, field stone, keystone, slate and the like. I don't know about you, but looking at the photo on the left, I can't tell that those aren't real bricks. Notice the brick too, is an accent, looking inlaid, with lace texture around it. Everything is made of the same basic materials, yet achieve different artistic looks. One of the great advantages of finishing with acrylic deck is that it builds up less than an 1/8" on the surface. This means that it will feather down right to the edge of pool tile or drains that are existing or door jams and look like the original surface. No need to remove the old surface. (Anything peeling or crumbling is, of course, removed.)

Our Latest Look is our Best!

We call this effect a variegated finish. It is great for hiding dirt, very long lived and really sets your surface apart as something that not everyone else has. This is a very rich look. Amazingly, this was all made with one color over a white mortar base.
